Luvr Inc ("we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-powered chat companion experience via the Luvr AI iOS app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

Account & Identity

Email Address: Collected during sign-up to authenticate your account and for support.

Chat Data

Messages & Character Creations: All text you send and receive (including any custom characters you create) are stored to power contextual AI responses and your saved history.

Device & Diagnostics

Device Information: Model, OS version, unique device identifiers, and IP address for diagnostics and performance monitoring.

Crash Logs & Analytics: Collected automatically via Firebase Crashlytics/Analytics to improve stability.

Usage Data

App Interaction: Non-personal, anonymized data about feature usage and session length to help us enhance the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Core Services: Provide and personalize your AI chat experience.
  • Account Management: Authenticate you, restore sessions, and manage your settings.
  • App Improvements: Analyze crash logs, usage patterns, and device data to fix bugs and optimize performance.
  • Communication: Send you support messages, security alerts, and policy updates.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on these trusted providers, who may process your data solely to deliver their services:

  • Firebase (Google): Authentication, secure real-time database, storage, crash reporting, and analytics—subject to Firebase Privacy Policy.
  • Together AI: Processes your chat messages to generate AI responses. Only message text is shared; no additional personal data is used to train models. See Together AI Privacy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data (including chats and characters) as long as your account is active.

If you request deletion, we'll remove all your personal data and backups within 30 days.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

  • No Sales or Rentals: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access & Correction: Contact us to review or correct your data.
  • Deletion: You may delete your account at any time (via in-app Settings or by emailing us).
  • Opt-Out of Analytics: You can disable analytics sharing in the app's Settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Luvr AI is intended for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us, and we will delete it promptly.

8. Content Guidelines & Moderation

We do not allow explicit, NSFW, or otherwise prohibited content. Any content that violates our Terms may be removed or restricted.

9. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

If you choose to allow tracking, we may collect the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) to improve analytics. You can opt out at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy > Tracking.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email, and the "Effective Date" will be updated.
