Numi Inc ("we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-powered wellness companion experience via the Numi iOS app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our app.

Email Address: Collected during sign-up to authenticate your account and for support.
Conversation Data
Messages & Voice Interactions: All text and voice conversations you have with Numi are stored to power contextual AI responses and your saved history.
Device & Diagnostics
Device Information: Model, OS version, unique device identifiers, and IP address for diagnostics and performance monitoring.
Crash Logs & Analytics: Collected automatically via Firebase Crashlytics/Analytics to improve stability.
Usage Data
App Interaction: Non-personal, anonymized data about feature usage and session length to help us enhance the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Core Services: Provide and personalize your AI wellness companion experience.
- Account Management: Authenticate you, restore sessions, and manage your settings.
- App Improvements: Analyze crash logs, usage patterns, and device data to fix bugs and optimize performance.

3. Third-Party Services
We rely on these trusted providers, who may process your data solely to deliver their services:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, secure real-time database, storage, crash reporting, and analytics—subject to Firebase Privacy Policy.
- Gemini AI: Processes your conversations to generate AI responses. Only conversation text is shared; no additional personal data is used to train models.
- Gabber: Handles voice call functionality and processing.
- Deepgram: Processes voice-to-text conversions for voice interactions.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data (including conversations) as long as your account is active.
If you request deletion, we'll remove all your personal data and backups within 30 days.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure
- No Sales or Rentals: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

- Deletion: You may delete your account at any time (via in-app Settings or by emailing us).

Numi is an AI wellness companion app designed for playful conversations and general wellness support. We are not licensed therapists, and our service is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We explicitly disclaim any liability for decisions made based on conversations with our AI companion.
By using Numi, you acknowledge that you understand this is an AI companion for general wellness conversations only, and not a therapeutic service.
8. Children's Privacy
Numi is intended for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us, and we will delete it promptly.
9. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
If you choose to allow tracking, we may collect the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) to improve analytics. You can opt out at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy > Tracking.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email, and the "Effective Date" will be updated.
